Privacy Policy
PJI Interactive (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use Age Up — Life Simulator Game (the “App”), visit our website, or contact us. We manage personal data in line with applicable laws, including the EU GDPR and, where relevant, US state privacy laws such as the CCPA.
The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
This page describes our practices; it is not legal advice.

1. Who we are
Controller: PJI Interactive (individual / sole trader trading name), operating Age Up.
Email: pjiinteractive@gmail.com
Website: https://playageup.com
For most players, we are the controller of App-related personal data we decide to collect. Some partners (especially Google) act as independent controllers for their own products (for example Google account sign-in, Play Billing, AdMob). Their policies also apply.
2. Information we collect
2.1 On your device (gameplay)
Character progress, choices, relationships, assets, and similar game state are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your full life save to our servers during normal play. Uninstalling or clearing app data usually removes this local data.
2.2 If you sign in with Google (optional)
We may store in Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore:
- Firebase user id
- Email and display name from Google
- Cloud wallet fields (for example rewind credits, claim dates, premium / ad-free flags)
- Created / updated timestamps
You can play without signing in.
2.3 Automatically from the App / device
- Basic analytics via Google Firebase Analytics (for example app opens, session activity, crash/stability signals)
- Device and app technical data needed to run Firebase / Play services (for example app version, OS, coarse region via IP as processed by Google)
We do not currently set your Google Auth uid as a Firebase Analytics user id. We do not intend to collect special-category data (health, precise biometrics, etc.). Please do not send that to us.
2.4 Support
If you email us, we process the content of your message and your email address to respond.
2.5 Ads and purchases (when enabled)
Advertising: when AdMob (or similar) is enabled, Google may process advertising identifiers, device data, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads.
In-app purchases: Google Play processes payment details. We may receive purchase tokens / product ids / status needed to deliver virtual items (for example credits) and to keep limited purchase records for fraud, tax, accounting, and disputes.
If your installed build has no ads or no IAP, those SDKs are not collecting for those purposes yet.
3. How we use data
- Provide the App — run gameplay, optional cloud wallet, restore purchases after reinstall when signed in
- Account security — authenticate with Google, prevent abuse
- Improve stability — analytics and crash signals
- Support — answer emails and deletion requests
- Legal — comply with law, defend claims, meet store / tax rules
- Ads / IAP — when enabled, deliver ads and paid virtual items
Legal bases under GDPR typically include: performance of a contract (providing the App / wallet), legitimate interests (security, analytics, improving the App — balanced against your rights), consent where required (for example certain advertising / cookies), and legal obligation (tax / accounting when applicable).
4. Who we share with
We do not sell your personal data for money. We share data with processors / platforms that help run the App:
- Google — Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Hosting), Google Play, and AdMob when ads are live
- Professional advisors if needed (for example legal) under confidentiality
- Authorities where required by law
If you use Google Sign-In or Play Billing, Google also processes data under Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. International transfers
Our Firestore database is configured in Europe where set up that way. Google and other providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where GDPR applies to transfers outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (for example Standard Contractual Clauses and Google’s data processing terms).
6. Retention
- Local saves: until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall
- Cloud account / wallet: until you use in-app Delete account or we complete a verified email deletion request (target: 30 days)
- Support emails: as long as needed to resolve your request, then a limited archive period
- Analytics: per Google Firebase Analytics retention settings
- Purchase records (when IAP ships): may be kept after account deletion for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, and store disputes — we will publish a clearer period before paid features launch
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a small indie app: HTTPS, Firebase security rules, and limited access to our developer accounts. No method is 100% secure.
8. Your rights (GDPR and similar)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase data (with legal exceptions)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability where applicable
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
In-app tools: Options → Account → Delete account removes your Firebase Auth user and cloud wallet. Local life saves stay on the device unless you clear them.
Email requests: pjiinteractive@gmail.com (include your country and the Google email used for sign-in if relevant). We aim to respond within 30 days.
9. US residents
If US state privacy laws apply to you (for example California), you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal data for money. When ads are enabled, sharing of device/ad identifiers with Google AdMob for personalized ads may be considered “sharing” under some US laws. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example reset/limit advertising ID) and, once we ship ads, through any in-app or OS privacy controls we provide.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, except as allowed by law.
10. Children
The App is intended for 16+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have such data, contact us and we will delete it where required.
11. Providers / processors (current & planned)
| Provider | Purpose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase | Auth, Firestore wallet, Analytics, Hosting | Live |
| Google Play | App distribution, Billing (when IAP live) | Live / planned IAP |
| Google AdMob | Ads | Planned — page will be updated when enabled |
Unlike large publishers, we do not currently use a long list of mediation / attribution partners. If we add partners later, we will update this section.
12. Policy changes
We may update this policy when the App or law changes. The “last updated” date above will change. Significant changes may also be noted on the website or in the App.
